I think we should be able to dye all new gear.

It'd be nice if everyone wearing the new Allagan sets or AFII sets all looked different, even if only because of color.

I agree it would be cool to be able to dye all armor, just not sure if the dev team is not allowing it so that the artwork remains um, "pure?" or how the art team envisioned it to look.

I would be ok with this.

I'm against dying AF sets but for everything else including allagan. AF set is suppose to be trademark for each class, kinda ruins it from the artists perspective seeing the iconic image of BLM suddenly become a pink mage.

The NPC that gives you BLM quests is wearing blue robes and a tan hat, not black. Pretty sure a few older games have characters wearing gear in colors that aren't what they would normally be, too.

I have to agree that the traditional garb for classes should not be dyable --- I really enjoy my White Mage robe! However, let everything else be dyable... >,>
