Annihilation is an end-game rank 8 semi-hardcore Free Company on the Exodus Server.
Annihilation has an aggressive objective to conquer all content FFXIV:ARR has to offer, on our time. We are looking for motivated individuals of all play styles to join our community, as well as our coil talent pool.
History:
Many of us come from various MMORPGs spanning over a decade. Some of our members have played FFXIV during the 1.0 days. Annihilation was founded with the launch of FFXIV:ARR.
Play Style:
We have a laid back, easy going attitude and want to assist in achieving the goals of every member. We work incredibly hard to achieve our goals. We are semi-hardcore in that we play casual hours, but when we are raiding we devout 100% of our skill and attention to completing the content.
Content Focus:
Our focus is enjoying all the content FFXIV has to offer. To some of us that means working on end game progression. To others it means leveling every single class to 50. Some members are achievement completionists. Multiple members gather Treasure Maps to farm for minions and money. We also have groups that are dedicated to leveling off classes through dungeons. Many of our members farm tomestones every week, and are always looking for people to group with. Crystal Tower is a constant weekly event for many of our members, trying to farm off class gear or vanity items.
FC Events:
Events will be scheduled weekly for all members of the FC to partake in. We will ensure that the company actions match the theme of the events taking place that day. Participation is optional, but encouraged!
Events can be set up by any member of the FC and we will work to support those who want to help schedule and run events.

Raiding Policy:
Annihilation only has one main policy when it comes to raiding:
If you sign up for an event, you are required show up.
We could argue semantics, but it is the intent of that statement that matters.
Raiding Schedule:
Currently Annihilation has one coil raid team. We are working on setting up a second raid group. Primal events are scheduled separately. Static raid groups will only be maintained for progression content.
We will be running our raids from 1 large pool with rotating rosters. Currently we have the following vacancies:
1 Healer
1 Bard
2 Tanks
1 Physical DD
2 Magical DD
Coil Team Schedule (All Teams):
Tuesday/Thursday - 7:00 - 11:00 PM EST
Voice Chat:
We use Ventrilo as our voice chat client.
Voice chat is required for listening.
Speaking is not necessary.
Housing:
We are about 85% of the way to a medium sized plot. We have craft masters responsible for decoration.
PvP:
Annihilation has a few members that are interested in PvP. Currently nothing is scheduled, but if your primary interest is PvP, we are looking for individuals who would like to take leadership of PvP events.
What We are Looking For:
For raiding we are looking for members of various skill levels and experience. Members of the progression group will be taking time to help teach anyone who wants to learn, and make sure that members develop the skills necessary to tackle ever more difficult content.
We are also looking for members to fill out our communities ranks. We are looking to schedule fun events that all members can take part in regardless of level or gear. We are always open to suggestions!
