I know they are not high priority, and I also know quite well that many people will scream "WoW!"; but am I the only one that thinks these features are among the best interface aspects in MMOs out there? Good ideas are good ideas, no matter where they come from.
Comparing pertinent items to the currently equipped one (on mouse-over/gamepad select) should be a standard feature in all MMOs. Ditto for the ability to link any in-game item's description and stats in the chatlog. Right now it's rather complicated to compare potential purchases to items we already own, or refer other players to specific items. Think of the boost to commerce and trade!
Any chance we can interest the developers in these, even if they're actually low priority and probably will not be implemented until three centuries from now? :-)
