How to change character name?

Title asked all. Anyone know how?

Hmmm... maybe get someone to report your name as offensive. GM may make you change name ;)

For your own char? We can't yet. The devs hinted that eventually we'll be able to have access to a name-changing service (most likely via Mog Station), along with server transfers (currently available) and Fantasia.

make a new character :)

Step 1: Make a character with your current name on another server.
Step 2: Pay money to transfer your current character to the other server you just created a char. Due to name conflict, you'll have to change the name.
Step 3: Change the name of your current char.
Step 4: Transfer back to your original server if you'd like to or just stay on the new server.
Step 5: ??????
Step 6: Profit.

Don't you have to wait a full month to transfer back then?

^ This is the only way right now...cuz SE needs to friggin implement Namingway Cards!

Don't think you can, unless your name is judged offensive. So unless your screen name is Ballsdeep69, you're likely stuck with the name you selected.

They should start selling those items.
