The miqo'te /welcome emote is very much like a hug, so I guess you could do the old FFXI trick of making a macro using the /welcome animation and custom emote text.

I use the /welcome emote with macro text as well. But unfortunately /welcome doesn't work on every race/gender: female highlanders' /welcome doesn't work at all. :(
