Hey Guys,
I just got all my DL Gear and just unlocked the labyrinth dungeon. I am excited to do it but concerned that I am not ready yet. Should I have the Thyrus completed before I attempt it?

DL is more than enough. It's really easy as long as you don't have too many derps in the alliance.
This thread has tons of good info :) And DL is good enough for this really.

Would having the competed Thyrus be overkill then?
It's actually made to help you out with the end game raids such as relic and coil but no it isn't really an over kill if you have your relic already...
Its just that there is absolutely no need to wait until you get your relic to do this. CT will help you gear up for say Titan HM if you don't feel comfortable doing it in DL gear, and will gear you up really well for coil since people are asking for higher ilvls for it now. Its really easy to heal through so any sub relic weapon should be fine :)
I went straight into CT from AF gear and an i55 weapon. CT is a free giveaway, you can skip i70 gear completely with no problems.
Heck, by the time you get the weekly drop, it's thrown most of the weekly cap of mythstones at you. Heck, I use it for myth instead of the high roulette because I don't have to pay as much attention.
OP: As long as the group isn't completely mentally train wrecked, CT is easier than most of the L50 dungeons. KB is annoying because there's constant unavoidable damage and you'll find that your party likes to be at all four corners. Otherwise, the rest of the fights are only a problem if something goes horribly awry. I've, on <SCHi75, had to solo heal every fight in there at one time or another (let me explain to you my hatred of untanked Nemeses). Even if your ilvl is only just enough to get in, likely you'll have another healer backing you up.
