I was looking around Gridania talking to a few NPC's and stumbled upon this. When I asked the Npc Nicia standing near the Gridania Aetheryte plaza about what an Aetheryte was she said:Sadly, this is not true in the game as I have an alternate character that did not attune to all of the Aetheryte in Eorzea and when a party member teleports to those destinations I am given a message that I do not meet the required conditions to teleport.Quote:
What is even more amazing when teleporting we can "carry" those with whom we have created a bond-such as an adventuring party- regardless of whether or not they have previously attuned with the destination aetheryte.
Either Nicia is mistaken from the 1.0 days when we could have party members teleport us to locations which we have not attuned or something else is amiss!
