ADS Module pixellation weirdness

So after seeing all the nice screenshots on these forums, I shelled out for an ADS Illuminant and installed it in my house. The image display is incredibly pixellated.

I thought it might be because we have a Medium house, but I checked out some Large houses and their display shows the same kind of pixellation to me.
What is going on? I am running 1920x1080 with maximum settings, and my display looks like that. Changing my graphics settings does nothing, and the rest of the game looks fantastic. My friends on PC are split between pixellated and nice-looking and I'm not sure what the difference is.

Update: I reinstalled the game thinking corrupted data file, and the projection showed up higher res! Bad news is that the game insists on running at 1280x960 res and trying to tweak it back to the native 1920 makes the projection permanently low res again. wtf-

Fixed: Apparently something in the FFXIV.cfg file went bad because deleting that config folder and starting with a fresh config made it all work and using the old config made it bad again. Still absolutely no clue what combo does it though
