Saving Myth Tombstones till Patch 2.2

Hey, a few people in my Fc are saving there myth tomestones now till patch 2.2 comes in, wondered what other people thought about this.

It appears i spelt it wrong, lol TomeStones =P

Can't see a reason to save them.

New crafted mats for the i90 crafted gear will most likely require myth tokens but I can't imagine we're going to be able to craft a full set of those as soon as the patch hits.

Not much point since it will be uncapped. If you have a lot of time to play you can grind your myth if they are needed for something.

i dont see the point. given the rinse/repeat pattern of this game, myth and myth gear will be the new philo/DL. so anything new would come from the new tomes and will need to be grinded to death from the new dungeons.

edit: forgot about the potential new market for new myth bought/made items.. sell em while you can....

Money. Saving myth to sell myth mats in the first week for 70k-100k each, there's already a thread in the DoH forums about that.

I'm doing the same. Keeping myself hovering around the 2000 cap only making purchases when i have no choice to do so. The reason for this is the introduction of 3star crafts (new recipes). They will most likely also introduce new crafting items to go alon with these recipes. These crafting items will most likely be purchasable using Myth tomes at Rowena's shop in RevToll.

Being prepared to buy/sell these items can make a difference in the first few weeks as they will be very popular items most likely selling for what the Philo items sold for at launch (40-60k gil/125 Tomes). This could be a good way to become rich if you save up your Myth and are prepared for this boom.

If not mistaken was said 2 new tomes in 2.2

Also Myth will be uncapped like Philo is ATM

Don't see a reason to save them imo

I think it could be good a choise for probable new ingredients buyable with Myth.
