Treasure hunting nerf???

This is more of a question, our FC has been doing treasure hunts with the Peisteskin maps and donating the gold to the FC funds. Its a guaranteed around 1650 gil (or a number close to that) for each player and a chance to have 5k gil per person on each map.
Before today, we were getting about a 5k map for every 4-6 maps that we were doing.
Now, today we have done almost 30 maps with only one 5k gil map.

Anyone else notice a drop in the % that the 5k gil per person is happening? Or was this just a string of dumb luck?
Or was our previous % just crazy good luck?

yeah, we noticed that as well. We did about 45 maps and only got one 5k map. That happened two weeks in a row.

I did like 30 maps the other day and got like 9 5k maps, which was about normal from what we had seen.

This would have been different anywhere between Saturday 3/8 and today 3/12. Thanks for the responses! So now I think its just luck. On Saturday we got great luck with a lot of 5k maps and if you are saying that for the last two weeks you got gimped as well, and Doctor said he did it recently and got 9 out of 30, seems to be just luck.
Would like more responses though to see what others may think!?

Also, maybe this was just a fluke, but I have always gotten around 5-7 items on the boarskin maps. For a few days, I was getting a max of 2. Seems to be back to normal again, but I thought that was weird..

We run about 30 maps per week, one week we get 5, the other we get 1.
I think our record stands at 12 5k maps in one run. (Which happened to be on the night we got our FC house, which was nice.)

The Bluebird however... Haven't seen that one in 4 weeks.

I'm also going to have to say you guys were unlucky these past few weeks. My FC usually does a lot of peisteskin maps for fundraising on Sunday, and last Sunday we got REALLY lucky with 5k gil drops... more lucky than we ever have... and that was four days ago.

I've only seen a bluebird once in something like four weeks of solid farming. Sometimes we only do four maps each per week, though, so we're definitely not pushing as hard as we could be.

Yup. Last week I did get moderately amount of 5k several times. Haven't done any this week yet, but will do for capping myths. Also, saw blue birds drops several times over past few weeks doing peisteskin. I already had one myself long time ago.

On the other hand... I'm still busy doing toadskin dailies for getting that rare minion (tiny bulb i think). Think I had like a month doing this, only 1 map per day, and still get nothing. I did realize that toadskin could gave quite ample amount of reward: 4.7k gil & 30 phils instead of norm 1.7k gil & 10 phils.
Hopefully I can get this minion very soon, then I can stop all TH and just focus on peisteskin alone to rack some gils. Right now on my server, this minion are very expensive at market board and cost way too much than blue bird itself. Even peisteskin map are kind off cheapest compared to G1-4 maps.

Addendum to OP:

I'm in the OP's FC and was along on last night's treasure hunt. After about 20 straight 1.6k gil/5 myth maps we were seriously wondering if this week's little patch had stealth nerfed the pieste maps. But fairly soon after he started this thread our luck turned around and we started getting the better chests at a rate more in keeping with our earlier experience.
