I'm not sure if this is a bug, but my forum is aligned on the left side of my browser (Google Chrome) and there is a bunch of gray space on the right side but none on the left. It's just awkward looking at it.

I am also in Chrome. Same issue.
I'm using Firefox, and it also does it for me.
I think it's an intentional part of the layout, and not a bug in the code. Personally, it doesn't bother me one way or another, but if SE decides to make the forums centered instead of making them float left like they do now, I won't complain.
You may be right, it may be in the code. Looks weird to me though.
It's been a while and this still hasn't been addressed. Giant grey bars are really unflattering.
It's been happening to me as well, but I didn't notice until you said something, lol. It looks like a simple align-center becoming alight-left command issue.
SE needs to edit there CSS code to centre it correctly, its stuck to the left on mine to (Firefox)
I was under the impression it was supposed to be aligned left, especially given the fact that a number of people's signatures take advantage of the alignment to put stuff in the grey space to the right.
I dunno, it certainly doesn't bother me.. in fact in a way I actually kinda like it like this. Not least because those into-the-margin signatures always seemed a little awesome.
