[dev1005] Change the "loot" color in the chat log.

As title says.

I want this.

The bomb ember is engaged.
The bomb ember is defeated.
You obtain a pinch of bomb ash.
You obtain a pot of coal tar.


To be like this.

The bomb ember is engaged.
The bomb ember is defeated.
You obtain a pinch of bomb ash.
You obtain a pot of coal tar.


Colors inspired by FFXI it was very convenient and a lot better than trying to locate drops in wall of blue text or opening the inventory to check. (or looking for the treasure chest icon)

It can also be implemented for crafting in the same fashion. (it was semi placed for DoL classes but not as I was hoping).

Agreed, could you also add macro /echo /recast to this list as well please as I use them a lot and find them extremely hard to see in the wall-o-text even with filters and chat logs split up.

Oh yeah, /Echo appearing in the same color as the rest of the chat is annoying.

Agree. I also ask more colors for battle log, and the ability to increase/decrease font size

We delivered your comments/suggestions regarding the loot colors in the chat log to the dev. team with the utmost care. They said that they're currently adding it to their lists of tasks and also let me know that they're planning to further enhance the chat color-related settings that players can control.

Matt, I think it would be good for us to know how you (community reps) interface with the dev team so we can offer up our views in the most package-able or easily delivered manner. Also, I think it could help shape how discussions unfold. Finally, I just want to know haha.

Chat log messages with positive affirmations would be great to have as well...

Adding more tabs to the chat window, I know you can have a secondary window, but I'd like to be able to combine the two into one window with four tabs, instead of two windows of two tabs.

Oh hell yeah...why only 2 tabs, when it could clearly support 4-6 per chat box, and this is something they could just add and patch in moments...argh!
