It just frustrates me so much.
- People spam it many times, I don't know if they are trolling or what.
- Even if I answer it and then close it, it pops up at least 1-2 times more.
- People rush and attack dungeon bosses without everyone having checked "Ready" anyway, so what's the point?
- Before Ready Check, it didn't happen more than once a month that someone was actually AFK when a battle started.. is it really worth all the annoyance?

yeah I understand your frustration too but the new update has pretty much fixed it now. it pops on the screen but as text like most other things in the game and doesn't get in the way at all now. (not the confirmation window but after selecting your answer you don't see the window again unless you click it on the side)
I haven't seen any ready check abuse, so I wonder how common it actually is. Its been really nice to just be able to click ready and quickly sort things out instead of people clumsily trying to sort things out in /p or /a with <calls> and such.
