Suggestions ..important
Recently TESo is receiving a lot of credit for making Crafting an important part of the game,if Square is not looking at this ,they SHOULD be.
Crafting needs to be improved and gear progression removed.Gear items if level 50 should remain lvl 50,we don't want to follow the mistakes FFXI made Abyssea and post Abby.
Another idea of note is player skills/spells/abilities.I am constantly hearing there is not enough,it makes for bland combat and NEEDS to be spiced up.One suggestion is to lose the party LIMIT BREAK and give the FUN back to each individual.Perhaps a 1 hour ability or heck let's make this game FUN,give players some nice powerful special attacks or abilities with 20 minute timers.
HOUSING :Other games are introducing USABLE housing, that means players can actually use it at an early stage without having to grind for years to get it or to rely on a guild house, which is NOT your own.

Crafting:
Well, ESO sucks so I don't want FFXIV to copy them to that extent. I personally like the crafting in the game as is.
Skills:
The skills you earn through your classes are great as they are. you can even cross skills to other classes to make them somewhat different from, lets say, your average tank. Like one tank might focus on the cnj healing skills as an extra healing bonus or another tank might affect his enemies like using the plague skill from the arc to decrease their attack and dexterity so that they live longer.
Housing:
I see no problem getting money for a house. From my point of view, it like real life. If you want to buy a house then you got to be able to pay for it. It's up to you if you want to buy your own house or or go into a FC with a house but the housing feature is actually pretty nice to have. You can even craft your own furniture and objects for your house as well so you don't have to waste time buying things from a npc or something.
