Using Leves effectively?

So, I've managed to save up ~60 allowances and I was wondering if I should spend them now/soon or wait.

I'm currently a Lv. 21 MIN, and I haven't felt like the grind was too terrible up to this point. Not to mention the fact that I've been making some Gil from my hoarde of mats.

Is it worth it to spend my allowances now or should I wait until I need piles of XP to level up?

Update: I'm currently a LV 28 MIN and I still have tons of leves, so I have a new question. Grind until I can mine Black Alumen and then grind out LTW, or just switch to LTW now and just come back to MIN when I reach those recipies?

I'm really just looking to cut down on time, but I would like to be able to craft gear for my bard instead of blowing all my Gil.

It depends on exactly what you're using them for. Gathering and crafting are usually better uses for leves than battle. 60 is certainly a decent number to have. Keep in mind that they do cap so if you get in teh habbit of not using them you're likely to accidentally waste a few by being capped for too long. Unless you're saving them for something else I'd use them regularly. They serve no purpose once you reach 50, so now's the time.

Thanks for the info, do you happen to know what the cap is? I'll be using them for MIN, and maybe for LTW somewhere down the road.

If you say so.

You can stack up to 100 leves.
If you're 50, leves serves as a way to earn some easy gil and seals (from GC leves)

For leveling, I (mostly) leveled botanist and miner 5 or 10 levels above other craft to be able to gather my own mats.
Then, I leveled each craft simultanously (with some priority to WVR, CUL and CRP with a bit of LTW)

For gatherer, doing daily delivery from GC is a free "leve" for xp and give seals too ^^
(and if you're as crazy as me, do each crafting delivery to fill you're seals as fast as 5k seals a day ^^)

For crafting i am currently leveling up one job to 50 per week with leaves at the end if the week. Then after weekky reset i dont touch any leave and focus on dow (ct, coil, primals..) so that i have enough leaves to burn during the weekend

Get as many DOH's to 50 as possible before 2.2. Wait till later to finish off your Miner. Most ore can be purchased very cheap from the MB. Get ur LTW to 50 asap. Then get CRP to 50, then CUL to 37, then GSM to 50, and the rest to 15

I've heard this in a few places, and I'm wondering why. Just to make some Gil from new recipies?

I need black alumen for most high lv LTW crafts so I guess I'll stop there. Looks like I need more Gil too lol. Thanks for the ideas guys.
