War gear advice and then some

Hello, I got a couple of questions regarding warrior.
I am running coil 1 & 2 with my warrior, currently lvl 80.
As of now she is equipped with:
Dual Haken
CT head

DL neck

CT chest

DL earrings

CT Gloves

Inferno Bangle

DL belt

Allagan ring

DL Feet and Leg

Myth ring

With all that I reach 458 acc.
Now I need to buy either the myth chest, gloves or pants. I already have the allagan feet so that combo with pants would skyrocket my health parry and ilvl. I would lose 43 accuracy though.
What should I buy first?
And what is the actual acc cap for coil 1 & 2.
And last but not least. What stats does the soul of the warrior actually give? Couldn't find that answer anywhere.

I'd go for the Myth Body First.
It'd grant +21 Accuracy and 6 Vit, plus a few extra Parry.

When you're facing foes (as a tank you will be) nearly everything in coil requires a very high level of accuracy to cap out.
Some people will recommend 473/475 accuracy, others 482 accuracy. 458 is far too low.

Soul of the Warrior grants 10 STR, 10 DEX, 20 VIT, 20 INT, 10 MND, 10 PIE.

The body part was indeed my 2nd choice due to the acc. However, Coil 1 / 2 nearly don't need that much acc. The acc cap is only for coil 4 / 5. Thats why I asked. 458 acc on my war made sure I never missed so far. So I wonder what the actual cap is?

Pretty sure its like 471, atleast for PLD it is.

Rear = 435
Flank = 458 (Notice +23 acc to last position)
Front = 475+ and prob safest at around 481 (Notice +23 acc to last position).

Works for ALL of coil.

Mages use Magic, which is classed as Rear positional.
Summoner Pets count as casters but require slightly higher Accuracy to cap (~445-450).

Everything else should be fairly obvious. As a tank you should aim for 475 minimum.

You may have been lucky enough not to notice any misses at your level of accuracy yet, but there have been conflicting reports... that first parsed miss is from Turn 1 Snakes.

That.... is actually pretty helpfull :) Thanks! And I know I should aim for a decent amount of acc. With all pieces I should reach that easily. Its just that so far my gear have different stats and thus I was wondering what to get first. Thanks!

There's loads of numbers floating around on the boards now that seem to indicate differences in accuracy depending on your positioning to the enemy, particularly in the Dragoon and Monk threads (where they actually use positional attacks!). Much of this stuff hasn't filtered its way down into all the Tank threads yet, but it's not a big logical leap to conclude that positional accuracy differences are why you'll get some Off Tanks stating that they've never seen a miss with ~460 accuracy, and Main Tanks stating that they've missed occasionally even with ~470-480 accuracy! ;)

Regarding gameplay itself, both types of Tanks (Paladin and Warriors) will need to worry about having enough accuracy to keep hate (decent levels of spike DPS on things like Conflags doesn't hurt either... but for the most part your job is just to tank things). You should be able to get away with the very occasional miss or two since you'll usually have very high levels of aggro on the mobs you're tanking and missing part of a combo won't be the end of the world.

However Warriors will also have to worry about their Inner Beast ALWAYS hitting whenever they need it to: you really don't want to have to eat a predictable high-damage move without having any mitigation up. The Warrior's Storm's Path combo also inflicts a debuff which can be quite annoying when it misses... whereas the Paladin's RoH combo gets spammed so much that if RoH misses once the debuff won't fall off.

Paladins really don't have an ability that if it misses causes a huge issue... unless you count Spirit's Within being used as part of a Silence rotation on Turn #2.

Personally I'd always try and aim for Capped Accuracy > Vit > Parry > Str > Det > Crit > SS, on both tanks :)

Guessed so. And as a warrior I indeed offtank a lot due to the fact that we are a somewhat viable dps out of defiance. Ow well. With the BiS I should be able to hit cap. Its just that that CT gear nearly doesn't have any acc on it and thus my overal acc is kinda low. Didn't want my allagan feet to be lying in my inventory for nothign but I guess ill have to wait it out :(

Having the dual haken eliminates a lot of pain you would otherwise be feeling in the accuracy department. From where you are at now, Myth Body and Myth Gauntlets will grant you +36 accuracy, which should be more than another to fill the gap.

The Allagan chest piece also drops in T1, that has a good chunk of accuracy (+34)

If you don't plan on going past T1/2, get the hands. Otherwise, get the body.
