Gear sets won't save on logout

I'm playing on PS3, and ever since 2.16 my gear sets won't save when I log out. They say they're saving when I "update" the gear set, but every time I log in, it's as if I hadn't done it. If I choose to equip the gear set, it equips it as it was before the patch, rather than how I saved it afterwards. Also, it doesn't save new gear sets I try to create.

Something similar happened to me. As it turned out, my save data was corrupted, probably from how many times I just turned off my system instead of exiting the game proper (Don't ever do that lol). Since your character data is saved server side, your best bet is to delete the save file system side. Sadly, you"ll have to redo all your gear sets or whatnot, but at least they"ll start saving again. Don"t confuse it for the save data for your system settings for the game...it's the *other* save file.

Had it happen a couple times on PC this week across two different jobs. Seems like it just forgets to save a given set for whatever reason.

Had that happen once on PS3 from getting disconnected straight to the log-in screen once. Took an hour to rebuild what I had set, and then I made a backup to USB.
