While I was waiting for a lalafell kabob to be grilled earlier I was thinking about The Binding Coil of Bahamut turns 1-5, that we know will be accessible through the Duty Finder from 2.2...
And here comes the "What if"...
What if the duty finder only lists Binding Coil of Bahamut, Turns 1-5 as a single raid instance?
Does anyone remember if they said you could enter the turns individually from the duty finder?
Since it will be accessible through the duty finder, we know that the progression save doesn't take place, which means we can't just "enter T1 and do snake only", but we have to do the T1 ADS and trash as well...
What if they make it so you can't skip the turns (unless entering in-progress)? Would that lessen the complaints of people that predict people will spam coil for i90 gear?

you can choose any turn you want no restrictions :) also yes coil 1-5 will be spammable (and wil be spammed) for gear so have fun hitting 2000 myths in a day and getting all the turn gear you could ever hope for :)

But for current coil, you can't enter T4 unless you have someone in the party that have done T1-T3 or entered T4 with another group that had someone that meet the requirements.Quote:

A: Although there will be item level restrictions, we're planning to allow players to queue up for any turn in the Duty Finder. Unlike the current system where you have to clear them in order from turn 1, players will be able to start from any turn, so it will be possible to head straight to turn 5 if you like.

Heh just realized...people gonna solo queue for Turn 2...and actually have to do it correctly lol Won't matter much for a well geared group but I can imagine Turn 2 being one of the worst to DF next to 5. I think they'd also need to do something with Turn 3 or it will literally never get run except for people needing their initial clear for Turn 4 access or spiritbonders (Yes Im assuming people will need to clear previous Turns once for access to the subsequent turn).

Why would they have to do T2 the correct way? Enrage method isn't exactly hard to explain and I'm sure people would rather use that than try to get a bunch of people from DF to actually do the real method.

You have to get a proper party setup in Duty Finder. So you'd have to luck out and get two solidly geared healers and if one of those healers was SCH they'd have to REALLY be on point. Double SCH would be very difficult if not impossible. At least you'd have the extra DPS of a second tank to partially make up for not having a third healer.

T5 will be the best method to test how good are the players in every community. in terms of winning rate via DF on turn 5.
although most of us will do this via premade parties. it is still nice to know the win rate of every region on this specific dungeon via DF
