Suggestion: Vote Reset

Ever had a really nice group of people in DF and thought to yourself "These people are cool/greatl I'd like to run with them more!"

What do you guys think about implementing an option you can use at the end of a Duty where each player votes to restart the Duty? Let's call it Vote Reset and it requires a complete 100% unanimous decision to pass.

This is the best idea I've seen in a while.

I really liked this idea back when I played Rift. There DF let you remain in the party, cross-server even after the dungeon was finished. This allowed people to pop in and out if they needed (for example: to repair) with minimal delay, and even re-queue afterwards.

Got my vote. And with the uncapped myth coming up, if you wanted, excellent for speed runs!

That would be a great way to eliminate some of the waiting in between duty finder ques. I like this idea

As long as this idea of restarting the run actually separates the annoying people that expects everyone to be super good at the run and put them in a dungeon hoping they will fivever stay in there while leaving the average sociable player happily enjoying the run normally without having to be scolded for failing a tiny bit, then I don't see anything wrong with this idea.

TERA has had this also for a while, and it was a very handy thing after clearing a dungeon with a pickup group I remember. The only thing I can think of against it, is if it would tie up slots on the DF servers. Wouldn't really be fair if people/party got in and the people who were queued had a long wait to get an open instance because another party was spamming it repeatedly. When they remove the weekly restriction on coil this would be compounded even more.

It IS a great feature though, if done right. This was also handy (tho not exactly fair as above it would tie up the instance) for when you didn't want to complete the instance, lets say to spam only the first few chests, or in cases where an error/glitch happened. I guess they could make the reset option available only after the duty was completed.

I honestly haven't seen that issue since ages ago. The one where you got a full party but you're stuck on "reserving instance" because the DF servers are too full.

And yes, my suggestion is to make the vote available after the clear.

I've completely forgotten about the fact that I couldn't believe this wasn't an option at the beginning! I guess I got used to it. There have been a lot of groups that I wished I could keep running with and I'm pretty sure they were all going to just requeue as well. You should definitely be allowed to stay grouped up. Just as long as they consider the need to repair between runs and possibly buy new armor I'd definitely like to see this implemented.

There's no need for a new feature all they need to do is let you queue with an existing duty party while still in the instance.
