Transferring items between characters on the same account

Is it possible to do this? Is this against the TOS even if it is possible?

I have multiple characters with multiple crafting disciplines and I want to transfer gear made on one to another so they can use it.

The only way to do this is through an intermediary, such as another player who you trust or the Company Chest if you have the right permissions.

however, if it is gear that you have already worn, you can not trade it to another character or add it to the FC chest. Sorry.

On a off subject, I suggest leveling all the crafting classes at the same time, at least to 15. They do use the same gear with the exception of the tools.

You can also use market board and sell items cheaply to another character. Might be better to do that early in the morning though.

I really really wish they'd add a more straightforward option that doesn't require awkward workarounds like these. Please SE, let us mail stuff to our own alts. Surely an alt on the same account is at least as well associated with us as someone we've friended.
