Striking Dummy Issue

Today I went to Summerford for trying to perfect my Monk when I noticed no target circle on ground pop... at the beginning i don't care it.. but after a while i thought... and combo damage change or always the same???

I tried to launch some True Strike and Snap Punch that change potency from the position..

And damage potency work with the position (even without circle)... BUT, there is a but!
Bootshine (that will be a sure crit if hitted from behind) don't work, so don't 100% crit...

There is still a back, front, and side, even if you can't see the indicator. Same with the beacons in Southern Thanalan. Just fiddle around a little until you find them -- the bootshine autocrit should make this pretty easy.

Yeah but what I noticed is:

With True Strike i found the "behind" position... ( i hit in 3 side for 230 and on one for 290 dmg) but when i cast bootshine... meh no crit :/ something don't work

I have done more MNK parses on the dummies at Summerford than I care to admit. The positions work perfectly.

I thought they change how bootshine bonus work it no longer give 100% crit

Nope... the only thing that changed with it is the base potency went from 130 to 150. It's still a 100% crit from the rear when in Opo-opo form.
