I just did the math, If I do nothing but play this game 8 hours a day and do nothing but queue for pvp... I'll be rank 30 in a little over a year! And that's only if I win every match.

Solo queuing is kinda dead. But if you still want to solo queue then I suggest that you pvp sometime around peak time (I get a match every 5 or 7 minutes). Though what I think that will really work is getting involved with the pvp community (FC or link shells).
This is peak time from 5:00 to 7:00 PM check in screen shot, also this was queued for lvl 30, 40 and 50 in all languages. The real problem is the 1 melee 1 ranged 1 heal 1 tank restrictions.
Praise Helix.
Yeah, I only q for PvP at weekends.
Still never tried PvP, but really finder asks for a tank? In PvP?
Every job/role in pvp has their own set of pvp abilities they bring to the table. Tanks are very solid at dealing damage in pvp but you have to think of them more like a dps. Spec strength, strength accessories, etc
Change to a different role, or get 2 other guys and farm 50 if you're in i70 pvp and 40 if lower. You can even start a linkshell and/or use party finder to do 4v4 if you so fancy. Obviously you wont get near the practice you would get from fighting those as you would get from more experienced players but it could be something to keep in mind during an exceptionally slow day. Just remember keep up the sportsmanship in there, if you know what i mean. Its about the practice not the grind. You dont wanna be like some of those suddenly appearing r30 people with no clue in a real match, being the laughing stock, and food to, the experienced r30's.
God forbid we get newer players in the first PVP mode to be unlocked in the game, lvl30 SHOULD be for new players...you talk about sportsmanship then just poking fun at new players? You know why they have no idea what to do? Maybe they JUST started.
Real sportsmanlike of you.
