Subscription Lapse consequence?

HI, I have question. If a sub lapses, are the characters wiped or are they stored on the server and accessible once the sub is picked back up? This is probably an easy noob question to answer, but I've looked all over and can't find an answer. :confused:

You can run out of Sub time and then come back months later and everything you had when the Sub ran out will be exactly where you left it.
