Ahriman choker - gone forever?

So I see now that there is a new reward for the new screenshot contest to go along with the current event. While great - I suppose - it means a likely influx of new submitters and even more difficulty in chances of winning.

I entered at least 3 - if not more - of the screenshot contests for the Ahriman choker and did not win top 100 in any. While I can accept that I didn't win, I would like to know if that's it forever for the Ahriman choker (and new screenshot contest items to come) or if there will be an alternate way of obtaining it?

Maybe as a veteran reward down the line?

I tend to be a completionist and I would hate to not be able to earn an in-game item that so many other people obtained simply because I am apparently terrible at screen-shotting :rolleyes:

Honestly I think it should be a different reward for each contest. Make it a lil more unique and desirable. Also we should keep the "special" rewards rare. Don't spoil it. Nothing irks like paying for an "exclusive" pre-order item only to see it passed out for the masses two months later. This game already has an over abundance of people in clone armor.

Not taking into account you will wear it for a day and then forever reduce it to storage... Vanity system can not get here soon enough! Please don't screw it up SE =/

In 1.0 there was also the Scarf of Wondrous Wit as a contest reward. Wonder if they'll reintroduce that one too....

I hope they get around to delivering our chokers for winning the FC contest before getting rid of them

I am very happy to see that the prize has changed, perhaps in the future they can give the option of which prize.
eg. Choose one item: Mandragora choker or Ahriman choker or etc etc include future prizes here.
