Best ways to make Gil mining?

What's some of the best ways to make money mining?

Check marketboard. Check the ore/metal button. See where there is demand. Go and mine that. Sell in various quantities. Crafters leveling will probably want 99. People just making gear or doing leves may only want 5 or 15. Price the smaller quantities a little higher than the 99-stack ones.

There is no set of instructions for making gil. You have to do research every day to see what is selling.

Also sometimes check the crystals button. Sometimes there is a shortage on crystals and you can turn a profit before the RMT step in.

Level goldsmith and/or blacksmith. Make ingots from the ore. Sell the ingots.

Best way to make Gil with mining is to level up your DoH's and use the materials you mine to synth stuff to sell.

I see mining cheap materials as a huge mistake. If I'm looking at time/gil, it's often better to buy materials for crafting.

I mine whatever is selling high, and buy cheap materials for crafting. Gold Ore tends to sell high, or you can make nuggets, or gear, but that node is once a day. Clusters in Mor Dhona are every 4 hours (if you have Min and Btn), and you can do crafting leves while you're there (cobalt ingots, and raptor leather are nice profit). However, the biggest chunks of gil I've earned are from 2 star gear.
