Play Button doesn't appear on Launcher

Every time I try to log in to my Final Fantasy XIV game through the launcher, I put in my Square Enix ID, Square Enix password, and one-time password. When I hit the launch button, I'm given a black box with no green Play button. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing the game. I've checked my graphic card drivers, and they're the latest. So considering the trouble shooting I've done, I don't understand how to resolve this issue. Has anyone else have this issue ? And if so, how did you resolve it ? Below is a screenshot of what I'm talking about.

Only time I've seen problems with that section of the launcher was when I tried XIV working with WINE on Linux (except I didn't even get the login screen).. if you use IE maybe try setting it back to defaults is the only thing I can think of based on the problems I was encountering.

I'm using Windows 7 64-Bit OS.

Mine was out of place this morning. It was over on the picture.

Mine's been over the picture twice since the last update. Quitting and restarting has fixed it for me. My guess is that it's off the screen somewhere.

This happened on PS3 also. The Play button appeared over the Little Ladies' Day screen. It was still clickable, but way off positioned from where it normally is. Not sure how to help you though :(

I did a system restore back to the 25th and I'm still having the same issue. Which is funny because this didn't start occurring until today.

Really sick of this mess. This happened to me before and I can't find how to fix it. I'm having the exact same problem. SE should partner with Dell. They seem to have the same motto:

You're right actually, I completely forgot the two were separate, edited to suit.

Another thread had this posted and it worked for our raid leader who couldn't get it. His screen looked exactly like yours:
