Lvl 50 ALC tool, Paracelsus, gone...

I logged in a few days ago to do some crafting. When I tried to switch to alchemist to craft, it wouldn't let me change via gear sets. When I checked my armoury chest, my Paracelsus was gone. I did not throw it away, and it is unsellable. I also checked the inn and both retainers. It has disappeared from existence. There is no way to obtain another... what do I do?

I would hate that since I just got my alchemist to level 50 last week. However, your problem is similar to another that is going around. I have not logged into the game today, at all because I have grown weary of having to re-equip gear sets every time that I log into the game. Should the problem not be addressed, I simply may not be renewing payment for playing when it is due.
