Blacklist full of RMTs?
I was just adding more RMTs and there spam to my blacklist this morning when i thought to myself "What if there was an option under the blacklist in the menu to report RMT spam? i think it would help SE get rid of them faster? IDK just thought id throw the idea out there thx..

SE has been remarkably silent about this. It doesnt look or feel like they have the situation in hand even remotely. Just looking at the rampant botting and the mass tells each day, i dont see things working out for the better anytime soon.
You can delete old entries, but it's really anoying and slow, with needless confirmation prompts and extra clicks that just make you more anoyed with each click.

As of right now, I have 94 "people" on my blacklist, all of them are RMTs. Out of that 94, only 7 are (Deleted)...
SE needs to do something... =A=()

It's no secret that every mmo has there fair share of bots.
And they just don't stop either so finding a solution has to be hard.
Especially given the fact that anyone can make an account so they just cant stop account creation just like that.
In short, I'm sure SE is trying to find a working solution that greatly reduces the number of bots in the game. But they can't just give out false hope as well otherwise it would backfire if things went wrong.

i think an option to report as RMTer would help

I really don't quite comprehend the RMT's advertising plan. I mean they honestly believe by constantly annoying potential customers by bombarding them daily with tells that they are going to generate more business? 9/10 times they just end up on a black list, their message isn't even read.
Anyway, a report option is only as good as what SE does with it. I have a theory that MMOs developers and the companies that run them actually have deals worked out that allow these RMT companies to pester us. I mean look at SE's silence and the fact that every MMO has this garbage, which really isn't that hard of a fix especially if they're using 3rd party to swarm players with tells. I.e. there's way to dectect and if reporting is done you reach a correlation like a large portion of reports have x program online with the client.
They like to make you think it's harder than that, but it really isn't it's all a matter of sifting through the information sent through ports between client and server, which even if automated isn't that hard of a task.
You'd also think this could more easily be solved blocking IPs considering this game has no f2p or even trial accounts so the people spamming are in fact paying the fee, or are they? See the point?

Purge your blacklist, all names are in chronological order.
Why purge? They are banned, they are not going to shout nor send you tells anymore.
SE does not, I repeat, does not delete banned characters.
All (Deleted) entries you see have been manually deleted by the rmt itself.
You should be 100% safe to delete any entry older than a day.
There will always be bots, they have existed since before MMOs went mainstream and they will always be there, finding ways to circumvent any placed restrictions and countermeasures.
