Bad behaviour by FC's GM chime in :)

So the other day I chat with a friend, I noticed he has changed FC's. I mention that to find out why. He procedes to tell me that he and his friend amongst others, had been kicked out for no reason. That they basically lost millions in gil and items whilst the FC they were in went ahead and purchased a house using what they had contributed.

That is the 2nd FC on my server that I have heard of doing that to members. Personally my FC will not ask or pressure members to add to the bank. Secondly I only think it is right if someone leaves or gets kicked out, we give them back what they donated.

The sad thing is that for players that have had this done to them, really have no recourse as far as we all know. Just seems like robbing players to me irregardless if the kicking or a member leaving was on bad terms.

So I want to know for those unfortunate to have experienced this or may possibly have it done to them, (this is where you GM's chime in) would or will SE give those players satisfaction? Help them out? Only thing they can do is just warn others if they don't go on a /shout tirade bad mouthing their former FC.

Unfortunately this is something the GMs can have no control over. If a FC forces you to donate gil to get a house, LEAVE. Such is the way of MMOs where leaders have most of the power and its up to the followers to determine if the leader is going to be a good one or an a-hole. Unfortunately there is really no way for GMs to police this issue because scenario A is what you are describing, scenario B: guy spends 5 mil on house, leaves FC, puts ticket in to get reimbursed (some money to all i think is what you are refering to.) then proceeds to join back once he gets his money back.
There is just too much abuse that could come from it. Personaly we asked all of our newer members not to contribute if they did not want to. and only if they were absolutely aware that they would not be getting any money back.

True that, it would be too difficult for them to figure out the whole mess. It is just an unfortunate thing that goes on.
