I have to ask. Does this item still drop? I've run Garuda HM, like, thirty times by now on Balmung. I've had every other weapon drop multiple times now with the Summoner's book consisting of many of said drops. I heard the book used to drop almost every time. Has it been switched so it hardly ever or never drops now?
When I did Garuda HM for my monk relic, the scholar book dropped. That was last week, but I've only done Garuda HM three times so 1/3 isn't bad. The RNG is a bummer sometimes. My friends always get summoner drops when I'm not in the party, but they don't drop when I am in the party.
I remember it took me 26 tries to get a scholar book from Garuda back in November.
Since they're only 56k or so now (maybe cheaper depending on your server) you might as well buy a Deus ex Gratia and stop wasting your time :)
