Keyboard/Mouse Combo on PS4

I was just wondering how well the Keyboard/Mouse combo works on the PS4 compared to the PS3? From what i've read, you weren't able to use hotkeys for combat on the PS3 - Has this changed for the PS4 version or is it just pretty much the same functionality as the PS3? I'm thinking of moving to PS4 (from PC), but just curious of how much difference there is now in terms of combat and UI (do you still have to stick with the cross UI or can you go PC-Style bar layout?).

PS4 client is essentially exactly the same as the PC client. You can use the PC hotbars and use any mouse/keyboard combination as long as your peripherals do not require special drivers to use.
