God damn it SE, I'm tired of this shit, fix them damn servers.

Twintania uses Mass-Disconnect. It was super effective!

The [Recovery] messages on Lodestone are pretty sad on Mondays. Primal is always hosed. Might get better after the mass exodus to other data centers in March.

Do Coil on another day. You know as well as everyone else...everyone does Coil/CT/WhateverInstancedContent on Monday.

Just a little baffling to me about six months after launch, we still have these issues. Either retention is incredibly good, or quality control can probably afford to work a bit harder.

Or.......ya know......maybe they could make it to where the servers can handle the load on mondays. Or maybe spread out the resets times, like coil mondays, CT Wednesdays, Primal EX Friday, etc.

But ya your idea of not playing a game we are paying a sub for once a week because the servers cant handle it is probably the better idea.

Please tell me you work in server management or networking. I'd love to hear you answer to how to successfully over pay for architecture.

Honesty, this issue is they have a network that can handle constant load, but the spike load isn't very easily managed. And the last thing you do is build a network around your spike. You just trying to manage it as best as possible. And well if they stagger the resets on things that would help a lot.

how is se to know when their hamsters running the servers are going to be sick? what do you expect them to do? upgrade to people?

Fine, just complain to a group of random anonymous people because that totally gets things changed. If it bothers a group so much change your play time. Move on, enjoy your server free crashes.
