"lvl 50 cul. gear set equipped, but not all materia could be restored" uh,What!? >:(

Time: 10:45 am 2/24/2014
Frequency: everytime i change gear sets to a gear set that has been effected. This happened AFTER the last patch- gear sets just started to be missing materia- i do not know what materia is missing as I had set the materia in the items a couple months ago. it comes up for 1 battle class set (monk) and all my gathering/crafting sets. :(

Class/Level: various classes/levels are having this issue with disappearing materia
Party or solo: either in party or solo, so long as i change my gear.
In-game time: anytime during my play as long as i am changing gear sets
Area and coordinates: happens regardless of location or area.
Steps: no steps, just change gear and it gives this error message.

Materia is not missing, just re-assign your gearsets and the error messages should be gone.

I had this issue too. Have you added any new materia to your gear and not updated the gear set?

This is happening because before patch 2.16, the configuration of the materia in your equipment was not saved to the gear set. Now that the game takes materia configuration into account, for any gear set that was created prior to 2.16 it will try to find a piece of gear without any materia in it first, then fall back to a piece with materia in it and throw this error message.
