Transferring from Legacy Worlds

For those of you that were feeling stuck on Legacy worlds.

yes, YES, finally i can ruin other markets with my ridiculous amounts of gil.

j/k. and i'll stay anyways.
but that's great news to several players that were stuck on legacy servers.

Would be nice if they give us a free transfer period like the new people got.

Not happy about this tbh... It's nothing against legacy players, it just puts me off when I see people with mounts and items that are impossible for me to obtain.

Or buy up items that sell for less on your server and sell them for higher on your destination world (if economic conditions permit).

You mean like event items players lower than 45 can never get?

But more importantly if it wasn't for us Legacy players there' be no FFXIV V2 for you to play and be all butt-hurt about phat lewt today. :p

Think he means the legacy mounts, white ravens, etc...

As for that last bit...I'd like to think it was more YoshiP and his vision for 2.0 than it was the legacy players subscription fees for our ability to explore Eorzea and forge the bonds we have to our characters, our linkshell/free companies, and the friends we made along the way.
