Titan XM Advice
Hi guys and girls.
Been having problems this week on Titan XM as Main Tank (I don't get the Adds) and avoiding Landslides during the Adds phase. My first clear went without a hitch, but I've been attempting it over and over again this week with very little luck.
Whenever Titan does his five way Landslide during the Row Bombs in the Adds Phase, I get knocked off, whether it is in the first or second phase. I've managed to survive the first Phase using Tempered Will to avoid the knock back, only to then get knocked off during the second phase, as it's still on cooldown.
Any advice on positioning would be good. I'm positioned North, just to the west of the little protrusion sticking out of the arena, which means I should only have to eat one Bomb if I stay in place, and the (very capable) Off Tank takes the Adds East.
I just feel like I'm letting the team down as whenever all the Healers and the DPS survive long enough to get to the Adds, it's me that dies.

You can try using Hallowed Ground for the second phase 5-way landslide. As far as I know, Hallowed Ground will also prevent knockbacks. Either that, or maybe you just have to react faster. Or maybe you have ping issues. It's hard to tell you how to position since Titan chooses a person at random and does Landslide on that person. Where the other 4 landslides hit is totally up to who Titan chose to Landslide on.

Dont tank him on the edge but a little more near the center gives you more room. Not too far or the rest might get problems with the slide.
Advice the group to stand left or right of the Arena not in the middle line. This will result in Titan turning as he landslides opening a larger gap for you to stand in.

Thanks guys. Some good ideas there. I play on PS3, so might potentially be some latency issues, but I don't seem to have too many issues on any other content. Tanking him slightly closer to the middle might be a good idea, as it should hopefully open up a larger triangle for me to stay safe in, no matter who he targets.
-
And that triangle gets larger the more the target he aims at is away from the center. Beeing a healer I have to say ist the best spot for me to stay at that time but it makes the life of the tank easier to step away from there. OT may benefit from that either to catch any loose adds if the Group steps a bit towards his side.

Keep in mind the safe spot for MT is always "behind" Titan. When you know his Landslide is coming, pay attention to who he targets and turns to, you'll be able to easily move behind him for the safe zone. Takes a little practice, but once you know what to look for it isn't so bad. Better to eat a bomb then a landslide. ;o

Behind Titan is great advice and easy to watch for.
Also I just stay north and pay attention to the others positioning since they should all be south or east during adds. So I know to stay north or get ready to dodge west.
I save tempered for adds. Even when I shouldn't get them things can get crazy post heart and you never know if you might have to tank them the second time around.
There is always HG as stated above but you have to be proactive with it or it won't fire in time.

Here's what I do as a War:
1. Wait at the east side of the stage and stay there.
2. When adds pop use steel cyclone on the add that spawned on the east and use tomahawk on the west add till you establish aggro. Overpower a couple of times to secure hate on both.
3. When the first set of bombs (N, E, S, W) drop wait till Titan does his landslides and dodge them, then move towards the next set of bombs (NE, SE, SW, NW) and sit inside it.
4. When the first set explodes run back to where you first started (East). You got about 2 secs so its easy to dodge with practice.
Depending on how the adds die you may have to move a bit to avoid getting heavy debuff from the aoe. My static stays south with me on the east and mt to the north.

2. Your way of getting aggro is very inefficient. Use Heavy Swing on Titan when he drops -> Maim -> Heavy Swing -> Skull Sunder West add -> Butcher's Block East add -> Steel Cyclone -> Overpower -> hate sealed.

What? Why would you Steel Cyclone on one add. That's an enormous waste of 5 Wrath stacks and builds less aggro than a combo'ed Butcher's Block.
