From PS3 to PS4

I plan on changing my account, eventually, to the PS4 version from the PS3. I downloaded the game on my PS4 to give it a try on the new system. I have some questions, however...


Do I log in with my current SE account? If I do that, what happens to my current PS3 character? Should I wait? Create a brand new SE account? After the nightmare of transferring my beta account to paid (which created a new service account that took SE over a week to fix) I'm very hesitant about doing anything outside the norm with my current account. I like my character and don't want to lose it.

Your current character will be fine, just log in with your normal SE account

If you're feeling paranoid feel free to make a new one I guess, though if you have CE rewards and stuff they get mailed to you on your beta character.

The PS3 > PS4 transfer hasn't started yet, this is a BETA phase so it won't matter what you do currently with your account.

Same with the Alpha/Beta.


The PS3 > PS4 free upgrade won't be on offer until nearer to April.
