games Server Time display is affected by clients system day light saving adjustment
When keeping an eye on the server time earlier, it was brought to my attention that the time I was seeing was an hour ahead compared to what others were seeing, The time i was seeing was 4:50pm where as others were seeing 3:50pm. This lead me to believe that there was only 10 minutes until maintenance when in fact there was an 1h and 10m remaining.
I am in Sydney, Aus and we are currently in DST.
I expect the clients Server time display to be the current server time and not server time + local dst.
Sydney is UTC+10 or UTC+11 during DST.
Server Maintenance was scheduled for 1700 GMT (5pm)
On my client, the Maintenance began when the server time was shown as 6pm
So in conclusion, the +1hour of DST is being applied to the server time where it shouldn't be.
There is not much more information that can be provided, but it is a bug. the server time display in game should not be affected by the users system currently adjusting for daylight saving.
