For any new players joining the Malboro server,

My character name is Rem Jezebel and I am always willing to help any new players that ask for it. :D Drop me a tell with "/tell Rem Jezebel" and I will be happy to answer any questions I can. :D
Although many seasoned players on this game can be very elitist, rude even mean to new players; I realize that we were all new once and everyone needs a good start to get into liking a game. :D

Also go to the Social menu -> Party Members, right-click yourself (or subcommands on ps3) and edit your search info. Change your online status to "New Adventurer" - it's the last option that looks like a tiny plant. This is only available if you have less than 20 hours total of game time.

Example: We have some people needing melds for their relics but couldn't figure out how to request them. Turns out they had never done the Mutamix quests in Central Thanalan so the "Request Meld" option didn't show up at all.

Our FC is also very friendly to new(er) players. Everyone has multiple classes and we frequently go back to run dungeons to help people through.

Bumping this since there seem to be a number of new(er) players around and mentioning that we're still around!

Resurrecting this for the new PS4 players.

Also mentioning that I have a new linkshell called Stepping Stone specifically for new players to ask questions. It's brand new so currently it is just myself, Sakura Kumanoko, and Rem Jezebel. Kirina Falkov and Miah'ra Targaryen, let me know if you want to be added.

I'll be hanging around the starting areas this weekend doing the occasional shout out for anyone that has questions. I'll be the white and purple rabbit.
