Hey guys I have tried a rotation for AoE as BLM it is pretty simple and seams to but up some big numbers of damage, the rotation goes like this.
Fire III - Fire II - Flare - Transpose and repeat. Put in fast cast, raging strikes and convert when it is ready or even ethers.
A normal non boosted rotation takes 12 secs to do.
I know it does huge numbers of damage on this short AoE rotation but what do you fellow BLM thing?
I usually Fire III - Raging strikes - Fire II (till empy) - Swiftcast Flare - Convert Flare - Mega Ether Flare. If pack still up, Transpose - Fire III - Fire II (till empty) - Flare.
I think you said you basically do same thing, so yes, I agree with it being good ha.
Im the only BLM in my 1-5 group so don't generally have anyone to compare my AOE deeps to, but the other week another BLM subbed for someone on T4, Im not sure what AOE rotation he was doing, but he only hit like 500 or maybe 600 DPS on spider packs, where as I hit like 1600 with this.
I haven't done WPSR in sooooo long ha, but pretty sure I used this even back then, and found it preferable to the Fire III - Flare - Blizzard III - Fire III - Flare so many did with a BRD.
