What should I be looking for on gear to improve my fishing?
As a general rule, perception, gathering, and output? I don't remember the difference between perception and gathering. I think perception is higher quality / rarer materials, while gathering affects how well you hit the type of item you are targeting? Output affects how much you get. Do a search for some of Ami Trubble's posts in the various forums here. I think she's posted about her tests on output v. level v. other things (though I may be wrong, I may have just talked to her about it in-game).
I will see if I can find it. From what I have found from searching online is Gathering-Reduces the depletion rate of the Remainder gauge and Output-Increases the amount of times a miner or botanist can gather at a single point, as well as reduces the amount of time a fisher must wait for a bite. The last thing I saw was that DEX and PIE affect fishing too but I am not sure how. So I guess I should mainly focus on Gathering/Output?
Could anyone help me with spoon lures? I can not find a good spot or anything to really bite them. Currently 39 fishing.
