Duty Finder loot

So if the 3 others in a duty finder group are in a rush and hit the exit button... the last one left automatically loses the loot roll?

No on the contrary, unless you pass last person in instance will get it.
It s the people who leave before end of loot roll that will loose

Im sorry but that is not true. 5 seconds after the last boss went down in the last dungeon i was in, all three other players left the dungeon and just as all the names vanished from the group list, the loot also vanished from my screen.

I had not chosen an option because i was just hovering the mouse over the item to compare them to my current gear, to decide if i wanted them or not.

And for the record, this is not the first time this has happened either. Thankfully the previous time i didnt actually need the drops. This time however i did.

And i know a few other people who have had this happen to them.

It disappears because it gets automatically given to you. This happens in all duties, except CT.

I am afraid that is also not true. The drop was a pair of pants. There are no new pants within my inventory or my armoury.

That's odd. Just last week all party members quit really quick and I got the item before I could roll. Maybe you already had the unique item and were unable to obtain it again? The chat log usually writes everything.
