Spreadsheet for tracking leves

Hello everyone,

I will begin by apologizing if something similar to this has been posted before.

My linkshell and I have made a spreadsheet (with the help of Google Docs) that allows us to have an easier time in tracking our guild leves for our static. Since we abandon leves it can be confusing and also down right time consuming to keep track of what peoples leves are manually.

This spreadsheet can be used by anyone, not just people with static parties. I find it very useful when I have to occasionally do a pug group. It really helps to speed up the party and also make sure everyone with their doubles gets their leves in.

What the spread sheet does:

• Keeps track of all leves.
• Displays Full Links.
• Shows you ☆'s for maximum SP.

To make yourself a copy you will need to have a Google Docs account.
Once you have that done, go to the "File" menu and then select "Make a copy...".
Save it to your Google Docs account and then edit the permissions however you feel best suits your needs.

I believe the spreadsheet is fairly simple to use once you have a copy made.
However if you need any help please feel free to post either in this thread or on our website's forums.
Suggestions and bugs are also welcome!

That spreadhseet is more complext then it needs to be

the formula for maximum SP is so very simple

Star count set to mob level - 10 > highest member of group for max sp


For instance Ranine, the mobs at 3 star are rank 54, so at rank 44, you are recieving max sp regardless of group size at 3 star.
at 45, you will start to get penalties to your sp(if you are the 45, no one else in the party is affected) so at this point you can raise it so 4 star
Dunesfolk mobs at 2 star are rank 52, so at 42, you get max 2 star sp


very simple to chart the mob levels per star count rather then make a whole spreadhseet tracking player levels, who has what and so on

I agree with you, this is a very simple sheet.

You are missing the point though. It is mainly to help keep track of multiple links and organize parties so they may be more efficient.
What we have also implemented though is leve difficulty so that it is even simpler to use, and it works exactly as you said.

On the case of no more than 3 people having a leve, and at least one of them has double, col M would not be correct.
e.g. 2 2 0 0 0 0 0 0 -> 1.00

Considering only the less informed players would use this sheet, you might also want to categorize the leves by the camps. And add a warning for when the leve is too low ranked for the party even at 5 stars.

These columns are basically used for when one of our static members were unable to attend leves that day and we picked up someone else instead, or for alts.

I don't think this can only be used by the less informed players at all, it basically just makes our leve static hassle free. Every member has a link to the doc and fills in there own leves, there's no specific individual that is having to write down everyones and work out how many links they have of what. I guess what I'm trying to get at is this, working out how many links you have and what star you should set it at is pretty basic math, so why waste time each reset working it out? And the three player with one double comment, your just pointing out obvious flaws with the spreadsheet that is easily overcome with simple common sense.

It's a tool we used to make our lives easier during statics and pugs so we figured we would share it with the community.

This would be needed if there was some difference between the leves other than just their names. As it is this function would be completely useless.

It would be nice to have a goal of doing all the leves and at least have some sort of meta gaming to keep you motivated though.

Nice feature, might do something similar on xivpads.
