All names (Player, NPC, Enemy etc) Flashing since update (2.16)

I've just updated my game today after the 2.16 update to find that all of the names within the game now flicker/flash with no way to stop it. I haven't changed any graphical settings on my laptop or ingame and all drivers are up to date. Was working fine before the maint and update.

Running Win 7, 8gb mem, Crossfire'd HD5870's blah blah blah.

Similar but not the same, the labels above targetable objects, NPCs, and players is corrupted with misaligned graphics of labels you have recently seen.

Yep that happens also - Sooo glad its not just me! I've tried everything :-(

Same as the above has mentioned flicker and distorted npc and pc names.

I'm not getting the distortion with crossfire disable at this resolution.

I am having the same issues. It looks like the game it trying to put two names on one character with the names flashing back and forth. When doing Garuda EX all of the plumes flashed both razor and spiny in the name. The only way I could determine which plum was spiny was to check my current target and cycle through them. I also am running crossfire, but my wife does not have this issue and she uses an identical pc and setup. Same GPUs, CPU, RAM, HDD. This bug is really going to make some fights hard to play through.

Edit - Disabling crossfire did fix the problem. Still don't know why it only affects my PC and not my wife's.

im running crossfire and eyefinity and im getting the same thing. Tried switching to 1920 and the issue persisted, have not tried crossfire disable yet, but it looks like that is the issue

Same issue starting after patch 2.16. Flickering names when using Default Mode and AFR Friendly for the Crossfire modes. When using Optimize 1x1 the names look normal, but some effects cause the game to run at half frame rate for a few seconds (this doesn't happen when using other Crossfire modes). Disabled it all looks fine.

Same issue. Works fine when I change from full screen (crossfire) to borderless window (no crossfire). Definitely a graphics card issue, but caused by something SE changed with the 2.16 patch.

I would say that is the most likely culprit, but then how does it only affect one of two computers with the exact same internals and drivers. Also updating drivers did not resolve the issue.

I was on catalyst driver 13.12 and tried updating to 14.1 beta. I will try downgrading to the previous driver (13.9) today to see if that will fix it.
