Gamepad/PS3 issues in 2.16.

2.16 has introduced a lot of little issues with gamepad and PS3 support that it really feels like they aren't even testing it at all. I'm not talking about just the delay with switching hotbars, I know they've already acknowledged that. There are several other problems as well. Using a ground-target AoE now makes a distracting mouse icon pop up (similar to the mouse icon popping up when selecting a dialog choice when the game was new), the new ground-target AoE controls are very unintuitive, there doesn't seem to be any way to make your character look at the camera on PS3 (holding down the Start button just brings up the menu), etc.

I love this game and overall Square Enix has been doing a fantastic job supporting it. I know development will always focus on PC and Mouse/Keyboard first, but if you are going to support a PS3 version and gamepad controls then actually SUPPORT them. Please fix these things soon.

I want to know why they gave kb/mouse users the option to use cross bars and didn't give controller users the option to use hotbars like in 1.0.

I'm aware that we're all human and mistakes happen. When a single update presents several problems for gamepad support though, it starts to feel like they weren't really paying attention to it. Especially since something like this would be incredibly easy to spot if they were. The mouse icon popping up was a problem in the past and I don't know why they didn't add the "look at camera" function for PS3. I didn't make this thread just trying to complain (if I made a thread every time I wanted to complain about something, I'd have way more posts), but I thought it'd be a good idea to have the real issue addressed and also gather up all the small problems as well. If anyone else knows of any gamepad/PS3 problems that 2.16 caused or hasn't been fixed yet, feel free to add them here as well.

Keyboards have "Pause" buttons, thats what they were referring to, not Start.

Have you tried disabling the option for the new ground-target controls? The patch notes mentioned an option to turn it off.
