Error 90000 and Lag
FF14 was working just fine until I moved into a new house yesterday. When I tried to log in this morning I got error 90000's about a minute after loading up my character in-game. This happened 5 times before I stopped trying. An hour later I tried again and I don't get disconnected, but instead have terrible lag.
Is this a SE server issue, or something I can fix at home?

i'm having issues staying connected today with lots of lag as well. Its never like this for me so i dunno if its on my side or somewhere along the pipe.

A better way to put this is:
Is there a way to be certain that the problem is not on my end? How do I go about figuring this out?
I absolutely love the game and don't want to have to unsubscribe.

Did you change your ISP when you moved? if not then its probably something on your new house's end. Might be a good idea to have them test the line quality. I've had a problem in the past where the coax line coming into the house was severely degraded and caused a lot of problems.
My problem is similar to yours where i get dc'd repeatedly and am unable to stay in game but i was able to narrow it down to my powerline adapter (sends network connection through the electrical socket). I was watching streams and would get dc'd at the same time the stream i was watching would lag.

Try testing your line by playing other games. Do other games lag? Is it only FFXIV?
Test your new lines speed and quality at www.speedtest.net and www.pingtest.net
Run a speedtest/pingtest to Montreal (FFXIV data center location), or at least a server nearby.
Then do both tests again to another location. Are they similar?
