Do you think you would ever add something like a fanny pack (or utility belt) that shows up on characters to free up some inventory? It would count as a separate space from the other set of inventory (so not subject to auto sort) and would act as a 'most used items' menu.
It could show up as a fanny pack (for modern day equivalent) and could come in a rainbow of colors or perhaps gemstones for vanity purposes.
