1 bug 1 accident, 1 huge headache..

have a little problem with a couple things.

first problem: i bought an "obelisk" lancer/dragoon polearm off the marketplace today, cost me about 67k gil plus whatever the broker fee was. it ate my gil, then never gave me the item. is hasn't shown up in my inventory, my mailbox, my armory chest or my retainer's inventory not that 3 of those would even make sense. there was no chatlog entry stating i'd purchased it, but the gil was consumed and i never got my polearm.

Second issue is partly my own fault and i would like to know if there's any way to fix this: i did the entire lightning strikes event and got the male armor set, however, i wanted the female set, so i finally used one of the 2 fantasia potions that i've had since the game's re-launch. aaaand big surprise, apparently changing genders doesn't unlock a second set of the event's quests to get lightning's armor set, there's no way to exchange male pieces for female pieces and changing your character's gender doesn't apparently morph your male set of armor... into the female equivalent. is there any way possible to get the right set now that my character is female? this is really disappointing that this sort of thing wasn't thought of ahead of time.

does anybody on staff ever look at this forum? and why by level 48 in game am i still limited to one post a day?

GMs and such don't look at these forums.. Only mods do. If a thread gets enough "hype" then the mods bring it to GMs attention..

Your best bet is probably to contact Square Enix directly instead of these forums.

you know i was literally told to post here by a gm...

You may want to put this in bug reports and follow their template. Also, mods here seem to be pretty busy and thus a little slow to reply. Just wait for it

the problem is this is intended for users to support other users (read their sticky welcoming you to the forums). Bug Reports and Feedback sections would be a more direct line to SE by way of the forums... but your better option may be to open a ticket at the support portal.
