A Problem Occurred While Updating Any help?

So I had just done a fresh install of my OS windows 7 64bit everything is updated drivers etc.

Getting annoyed andn ever had this issue before installing this game so not sure why it is doing this but when I install from c d then goto patch(or even do a install form the client exe on the web once the patch gets to about 2 gig of the patch downloaded I get

":(" Every single time I try to patch the updates ive restarted a ton of times even uninstalled the client a bunch clean registry etc of the game and still will keep doing this when patching.

And the annoying part is I just renewed my FFXIV account to start playing again and now I cannot wish someone had a full client download with current patchs on a torrent out there.

Also I do not have firewall on or antivirus so t hat is not it as well and my cable provider is not the issue as well download everything else fine.

Any help with this issue I would appreciate

Fixed my issue by deleting the ffxiv folder in documents/mygames then patching in safe mode. yay me:P
