Future of SideQuests

So whats the future of the sidequests? Do they end and voila no more sidequests? I enjoy helping random NPCes with problems and stuff but when i saw the 2.1 patch notes again there was like only 7 sidequests added. So im wondering if SE adds more sidequests in patches and expansions? :)

yes every new patch will have new quests and not to mention the seasonal events.
Also next big patch (2.2) We will see a new dungeon so expect more quests for that.
