World transfer question

I've looked over the instructions, and it all makes sense, but there's one thing I'm unclear about. It says to not log in until you've received an email notification that the transfer has been successful. It makes complete sense to me to not log onto the character you're trying to transfer, but it doesn't specify, at least not that I can find, whether this applies to logging on to any character on any server. Logic dictates other characters should be playable, but I thought I'd ask. Anyone know? Does it state this and I just missed it?

I don't really know but I just transferred two chars last night, by the time the payment was done processing the chars were moved. It's so fast you won't have to worry about logging in while it's happening. I would just log out the account entirely wait a few minutes and then you should be good to go.

I would just log off completely first and do the transfer.

The time it takes you to log in again, you should have received the e-mail by then.

It was a very fast process for me.
